The Tunit I is extremely compact in size and weight. Updated in January 2005 to a faster digital processor. The two variants of it are interchangeable with many other vehicles. The Tunit I fits VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda and more. This Tunit like all models is quite unique in it's ability to be easily adjusted to each individual vehicle. Fitting is usually carried out in 10-15 minutes, and adjustment is easily accessible although comes pre set like all models. Manual adjustment is via a 9 position rotary switch; right for more power, left for less. Like most of our products the Tunit I is designed to be fit and adjusted by the average, every day person. The Tunit II is extremely flexible, it will fit almost any vehicle prior to common rail engines and although it does not come with matching manufacturers plugs its great strength is that it can be used on almost any Tdi or non Tdi engine other than the latest common rail type engines.
This Tunit is also easily adjustable giving greater flexibility when it comes to customizing it to most engines and applications. As well as all this, the Tunit is an incredible 48x35 mm in size and as light as a pebble.
Fitting is by the attachment of four (in some cases six) wires. These can be done via the spade clips provided or by soldering. Adjustment is via a small screw on the body right for more power, left for less. Fitting is also available at our distributors.
This Tunit III is also very compact, a little smaller than a credit card. It has matching original manufacturers plugs on either end for ease of fitting. The Tunit III is adjustable via a small screw, giving it the same unique flexibility to individually tune your engine as its brothers. Right for more power left for less. This Tunit fits early models of BMW's, Vauxhall Omegas, Range Rover and Renaults. Fitting is also available at our distributors.
Tunit IV is used on some older semi electronic pumps, such as those fitted on Peugeot / Citroen 2.1 TD and Ford Transit. An old Tunit now but still very effective, it is attached by seven fine wires in parallel to existing wires leading to the ECU. These wires must be soldered and so fitting is recommended at an official Tunit distributor. This Tunit is also adjusted like II & III with one small screw; right for more power, left for less.

It features a harness with original plugs for ease of fitting and adjustable tuning, either manually with a 9 position rotary switch or electronically via lap top tuning. This Tunit has several variants and is easily adaptable to many other common rail vehicles. Fitting in under twenty minutes on most vehicles. Fitting is also available at our distributors.
The Tunit V-VP is suited to all engines with variable pumps. These are mostly the Japanese engines up to 2001, although some manufacturers still prefer this injection system. The Tunit comes complete with a detachable harness and either a connection to fit to the ECU or wires that attach to your existing wiring harness. These Tunits come already set and also like all have the facility to be adjusted via a nine position rotary switch. Installation takes from 20 minutes to 1 hour and can be carried out by a competent DIY enthusiast. Fitting is also available at our distributors throughout the country.
This Tunit suits all PD or single unit injection systems. This Tunit is suited to all the VW and Audi PD engines. It comes complete with original manufacturers plugs and is easily fit in under 20 minutes. Once fit it is un obtrusive and original in appearance. The power and torque gains are more than impressive giving incredible performance. Another great benefit is the V-PD Tunit is transferable to any other PD engine including the three cylinder! Please Note: Our application for the V10 VW Touareg uses Two Tunits.
Tunit V-PD (landrover TD5)
This V-PD Tunit is suited specifically to the Landrover TD 5 engine and comes with a harness that attaches in parallel to existing wiring. This Tunit is again compact in size and easily fit. Power and torque gains are very impressive on this type of injection system. Further increases can be achieved by lap top tuning.
Tunit C-11 and C-20
More pulling power! Cut fuel costs! Commercial diesel tuning with Tunit not only increases power by 20% but also more importantly saves fuel. This is achieved by the increase in torque allowing more efficient gear changing. (shorter gear range changes - less gear changes). The Tunit comes in a tough aluminium box and is adjustable via a small screw. Fitting is very simple.
What is a Tunit?
The Tunit is an externally installed performance product suitable for all modern diesel engines. Tunit is designed to improve power, torque and efficiency, without compromising fuel economy. In most cases applications will achieve a 7-10% saving on fuel. It is retro-fit and will not interfere with original equipment or the manufacturers warranties. Installation is usually a swift process of less than 30 minutes. Thanks to Tunit, diesel tuning is possible to increase the performance of all modern diesel vehicles by up to 30%.

How it Works
All Tunits are specifically designed to achieve enhanced diesel performance by modifying the fuel injection parameters and only by the careful interplay of these values and characteristics can the optimum performance of your engine be achieved. The turbo boost pressure is not directly altered (on turbo models) by the Tunit and is only increased via the natural increase in exhaust gases provided by the increased performance. The design and development of the Tunit has come about by the collaboration of some of the top minds in Europe and is the latest and most advanced device available on the market today. Our ongoing development programme ensures we keep up to date with the latest engine management and injection systems.
Every Tunit is designed to be compact and lightweight, the smallest being only 10cm across, the largest being 13.5cm. In most instances the Tunit comes complete with original manufacturers plugs and connections. An original quality harness to fit in-line is also provided. Most Tunits are fitted in 10-20 minutes and all are designed to be easily installed by people of average mechanical capability. If you prefer, we fit the Tunit for you. Fitting is offered by our international network of world wide distributors. Fitting is usually carried out in less than 20 minutes. If you wish to remove the Tunit for either fitting on another vehicle or for any other reason it is just as easy.
Manual Adjustment - All Tunits are adjustable in one form or another. This allows the Tunit to be individually matched to each and every characteristically different vehicle. This can be very important as two cars the same may not react and drive the same. i.e. one VW Golf 97 kW may produce 95 kW, the next Golf built on the same day may produce 102 kW. For this reason we have built in simple methods of reaching your optimum performance.
The Tunit V-CR, V-PD and V-VP models come pre set for the vehicle.Each Tunit has a 9 position rotary switch. Each position will provide a different power level. 1 is the lowest, 9 is the highest. The Tunit II, III and IV also have a manual adjustment and require a simple adjustment on installation to the vehicle.
Lap top Tune
The V-CR,V-VP & V-PD Tunits also have adjustable tuning via a lap top. This is a form of tune uniquely introduced by our company. Lap top tuning does considerably more than the manual adjustment. Once the Tunit is installed you can actually sit in the drivers seat and the Tunit can be re-programmed, by a Tunit distributor, as you drive along. As well as an overall power increase, the power can be moved further down or up the range and the power delivery can be varied to be smooth or aggressive.
Another great advantage of this is that if you decide to enhance your vehicle further, through maybe induction kits, intercoolers etc. you can easily adjust the Tunit to match the new modification so the full potential can be reached. With fixed map devices and chips this is not possible and a new chip or device would be required.
*We recommend a lap top tune if you add other performance parts such as intercooler and induction kit or if you have specific requirements such as heavy towing or large loads.
What is achieved ?
Immediately the increased power and torque can be felt. The throttle response is improved and particularly low and mid range torque is vastly improved, making the overall performance of the vehicle completely different.
When carrying loads and/or towing, the extra power is a also great advantage. The overall drive becomes more pleasurable and the engine in most instances runs smoother.
In independent tests and trials, results of 7-10% extra better fuel economy have been achieved. This obviously varies from vehicle to vehicle and application.
Warranty & Guarantee
The Tunit and its components comes with a full 3 year warranty. This is transferable with the customer to another vehicle. The warranty can be transferred to a separate customer by applying to Tunit with the original owners cutomer details.
